The Jebel Zerhoun is a chain of small mountains south of a set of northern reliefs that are now designated under the same name “Zerhoun” or “Jebel Zerhoun”. Zerhoun is one of the richest Moroccan regions in cultural heritage: the ancient site of Volubilis, the holy city of Moulay Idriss renowned for its religious moussem, the fortress of Kasbah Nesrani unique in its kind. This little jebel, in well – charged history, deserves a visit of at least two days, either upon arrival in Morocco before joining the Atlas or the Draa Valley, either on your return before joining Tangier.
