The territory of the former province of Burgundy, which existed until The Revolution, corresponded to a few nuances at coast – Or, Nièvre, Saône – et – Loire and Yonne. At that time, most castles already exist and their varied palette is the expression of a true Burgundian identity. The great wines and gastronomy are never far from these noble homes that amazing the visitor, by their number and their pomp. This book presents 40 castles, whose history is marked by the prodigious reign of the great Dukes of Burgundy.
