Chiletur Copec – Chilean Fjords Regions of Chile at 1:400,000 in a series of nine regional indexed and GPS compatible maps from Compass Editorial, printed on lightweight, waterproof and tear-proof synthetic paper. The maps provide an excellent representation of the topography and show many more places than general maps of the whole country.
The coverage of this title extends from just above 44° (north of Lago Verde and Puyuhuapi) to just beyond 48°45′ south and includes Puerto Cisnes, Puerto Ingeniero Ibínez and, on the south side, the northern part of the Campos del Hielo glaciers. The northern part of the map also shows the shipping routes in the fjords and the location of lighthouses.
Each map in the Compass Editorial series is double-sided, with a slight overlap between the sides and adjacent titles. The maps provide an exceptionally vivid picture of the terrain, using satellite imagery as a base, with elevation shading and coloring, as well as many mountain names.
