Monte Rosa – Alagna – Macugnaga – Gressoney region at 1:25,000 in a series of contoured, GPS-compatible hiking maps from the Turin-based Istituto Geografico Centrale, highlighting hiking trails, including long-distance routes, ski routes and alpine accommodation.
The maps in this series feature contours at 25m intervals, enhanced with shading and graphic reliefs for a very clear presentation of the terrain. An overprint highlights local hiking trails, indicating difficult sections, long-distance routes such as the GTA (Grande Traversata delle Alpi), the Tour Monte Rosa, etc. Ski routes with dangerous sections are also marked. The maps also show the location of different types of alpine accommodation: huts, refuges, hostels, campsites, etc. Cable car and chairlift lines are marked and for road users, local roads with restricted access are indicated. Each map covers approximately 22 x 25 km /13 x 15 miles. All maps have a 2 km UTM grid. The map legend includes English.
