Summits of the Pilat at the lagoons of the Camargue, the GR 42 seems to flirt with the Rhone.
Sometimes distant, sometimes close, the GR and the river dialogue between vineyards and orchards, from the inhabited heights of the balconies to the wild scope of the marshes, through Tournon – sur – Rhône and Roquemaire.
They finally leave Arles where the GR® now runs along the Petit Rhône before finding, in Saint – Gilles, the Rhone Canal in Sète and to afford to the Great Blue.
